The Museums of Haute-Corse

Haute-Corse is the wild and proud soul of the island, between steep mountains and hilltop villages. Here, every stone tells a story, every path leads to a legend. From Genoese citadels to the lively squares of Bastia or Corte, this land has seen heroes born, ancient songs echo, and struggles for independence unfold. The museums of Haute-Corse are the guardians of this memory. Through art, pastoral traditions, rural life, and the fight for Corsican identity, they reveal a living, rich, and authentic heritage.
